1. Who Can Apply?
The data subject (the natural person whose personal data is processed) can apply directly. Applications made on behalf of someone else require a notarised power of attorney or a document evidencing legal representation.
2. Application Channels
You may submit your application through one of the four channels below. Under the Communiqué, oral, telephone or social-media requests are not accepted because they do not allow identity verification or proof.
- Email to [email protected] from the address registered on your account — include your full name, your phone or last 5 digits of your national ID, and clearly describe your request.
- With secure electronic signature, mobile signature or registered electronic post (KEP) — send the signed document to [email protected].
- Registered postal mail to the data controller's address — you may download and sign the application form.
- In person at the data controller's address with valid photo ID.
3. Required Information
Under the Communiqué your application must include:
- Full name (and a wet signature if the application is in writing)
- National ID number for Turkish citizens, passport number for foreign nationals
- Domicile or business address for notifications
- Email, phone and fax number for notifications, if any
- The subject of the request (clearly stating which KVKK Article 11 right(s) you are exercising)
- Any information and documents related to the request

The form will be published as a PDF shortly. Until then, your free-form applications by email or registered mail are accepted as is.
5. Response Time and Fees
Your application is answered within at most 30 days, depending on the nature of the request, and the outcome is shared in writing or electronically. Responses are free of charge as a rule. Under the Communiqué, a fee under the tariff set by the KVKK Board may apply to written responses exceeding 10 pages; in that case the fee is communicated together with the response.
6. Right to File a Complaint
If you do not receive a response within 30 days, find the response insufficient or have your application rejected, you may file a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Authority under KVKK Article 14. Authority website: kvkk.gov.tr.
